so about about two years ago I went to see this independent comedy flik "The Foot Fist Way" about an instructor of Taekwondo in a small southern town who has a shitload of issues. Danny R. McBride as Fred Simmons is one of the most classic character's i've ever seen (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Foot_Fist_Way). I guess HBO loved the movie too because they adopted the same character and created a new HBO comedy series called EastBound and Down. This show is bonkers!!!
The main dude is Kenny Powers and he is a retired relief pitcher who teaches phys ed in a grammar school but is trying to make a comeback. Trust me folks -- this show is HI-LARIOUS!!! Chief a fatty and enjoy.

I agree! This show is definitely one of the funniest I've ever seen. I love movies and shows that have to do with Americans in Mexico because my dad is from Mexico and my mother from the U.S. so I can see the humor from both sides. The writers do a great job on the scripting. I am lucky to have my employee subscription to DISH Network and not a company like DirecTV because they don't offer HBO Comedy in HD. Ever since I upgraded to HD I can’t stand to watch anything in SD; everything is just so much better.
